چکیده
The main purpose of this report is to introduce a formal speciication notation ZedCharts and its applications. The ZedCharts notation is a combination of a Statecharts subset and the Z notation. This notation can be used for specifying reactive systems and safety-critical systems by describing their behaviour and functionality formally. We will also demonstrate an eeective approach to using ZedCharts for specifying safety-critical systems. The aim of this approach is to achieve formalism in speciications and intuitive understanding of speciied systems from both behavioural and functional views.

6. Differential Structure of Images
In this chapter we will study the differential structure of discrete images in detail. This is the structure described by the local multi-scale derivatives of the image. We start with the development of a toolkit for the definitions of heightlines, local coordinate systems and independence of our choice of coordinates. << FrontEndVision`FEV`; Off@General::spellD; Show@Import@"Spiral CT abdomen....
متن کاملGraal: A Toolkit for Query Answering with Existential Rules
This paper presents Graal, a java toolkit dedicated to ontological query answering in the framework of existential rules. We consider knowledge bases composed of data and an ontology expressed by existential rules. The main features of Graal are the following: a basic layer that provides generic interfaces to store and query various kinds of data, forward chaining and query rewriting algorithms...
متن کاملThe NITE XML Toolkit Meets the ICSI Meeting Corpus: Import, Annotation, and Browsing
The NITE XML Toolkit (NXT) provides library support for working with multimodal language corpora. We describe work in progress to explore its potential for the AMI project by applying it to the ICSI Meeting Corpus. We discuss converting existing data into the NXT data format; using NXT’s query facility to explore the corpus; hand-annotation and automatic indexing; and the integration of data ob...
متن کاملAppraise: an Open-Source Toolkit for Manual Evaluation of MT Output
We describe Appraise, an open-source toolkit supporting manual evaluation of machine translation output. The system allows to collect human judgments on translation output, implementing annotation tasks such as 1) quality checking, 2) translation ranking, 3) error classification, and 4) manual post-editing. It features an extensible, XML-based format for import/ export and can easily be adapted...
متن کاملCalculation of Positron Distribution in the Presence of a Uniform Magnetic Field for the Improvement of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging Using GEANT4 Toolkit
Introduction Range and diffusion of positron-emitting radiopharmaceuticals are important parameters for image resolution in positron emission tomography (PET). In this study, GEANT4 toolkit was applied to study positron diffusion in soft tissues with and without a magnetic field for six commonly used isotopes in PET imaging including 11C, 13N, 15O, 18F, 68Ga, and 82Rb.
